Scarecrows and Dolls

Finally got around to taken pictures of items I have been working on. These scarecrows always sell great for me this time of the year, and what I like best about them is that have batting in between the muslin and you don't have to stuff them, they are really fast to make. They fit nicely between the front door and a screen door. The dolls arestained darker than they look and I really like the CandyAnnies! they are a design from You are special, I may have to keep one of them.

School started today for the triplets. I can't believe they are in first grade already! I remember when they were born...so tiny and now look at them!

Perfect Drying Weather!

Woke up this morning and it was so blazing hot outside that I decided to stain some muslin and some dolls I am working on. They were all dry within 15 minutes in the hot sun! you can't beat that! Sometimes when I dry items in the oven it takes a little bit more than 15 minutes!
I now have naked dolls sitting on my dining room table waiting to get dressed. I will post pictures of them when I get them done!
I have a question for all of you, hopefully I will get some feedback. When You make a Mammy what shade of paint to you like? I just painted a Mammy using dk. brown and I am loving the color. Leave me a comment on what shade you like your dolls painted with.
Well have a nice day and I will be back with pictures of some of my projects I am working on.
