Wonderful holiday!

Well Christmas was here and gone already and I am sitting here wondering why we all fuss so much over the Holidays. We had a great Christmas Eve and a great Christmas Day. Church was awesome and singing the Christmas carols really made me feel good.

Otavio,  Barbara  and Carrie went shopping today at Tanger Outlet and oh my gosh Barbara brought 30 purses to take back to Brazil! They need to get another big suitcase for all of the stuff they brought!

I was having sewing withdrawals but was happy today when I got 2 orders for dolls! I couldn't wait to start on them! I was in seventh heaven in my craft room today!

Otavio and Barbara leaves thrusday, wish they could stay longer but I am so glad they came for 10 days. Having skype on the computer and being able to talk to them so far away is wonderful. Helps with missing them till they come back home.

Two Years in a row!

We are so excited our son and DIL are coming again for Christmas from Brazil! They arrive Monday the 19th and will stay till the 29th. Barbara loves to shop here because things are way cheaper here than in Brazil.Last year they had to buy 2 extra big suitcases to go home  LOL  I wonder if that will be the case this year.
Santa  will make a surprize visit friday night here for my grandkids, every year my daughter hosted the surprize visit and the kiddos started to expect it but this year we changed the house to mine and they will be so surprized!

I finished up the last of my orders to ship out today. I sold 24 Snowman toppers this year, which was a blessing!Here is a picture of the cute topper.

My house is all decorated and I have 5 trees this year! I have been inPrim Marts ornie swap ever since they started , which was at least the 2004 so I have plenty of ornies to decorate with and I love it! I have taken pictures but they aren't that good but I will post them anyway

Most of my shows turned out great!

Most of my shows turned out great except 1. Sales were a little off from last year but not by much. I noticed more people were using plastic (credit cards) more though than last year,but they were buying! I have this weekend off then 2 more shows to do.
I displayed my dolls this year in a babydoll crib and was surprized it was a HIT! Sold almost everydoll I had and now I am busy replacing them. When I get the pictures of my display I will upload it to show you all.
Thanksgiving is almost here and I will have 16 to cook for. Can't wait to smell the turkey cooking! Well Happy "Gobble Gobble Day"

This is crazy!

When did blogger change? One minute my blog looks normal then I check it again and the colors are goofy!! Guess I have to ask someone to help me change the layout and design cause I can't figure it out. So I apolozie for the look of my blog till I get some help.
Well I have all of my inventory done for my shows! Yippee!! I have sewed, stuffed so many snowmen and dolls that I need a break now . Three inventory's for three differant shows that are going on at the same time is alot!.I finished up making electric candles and tarts today and my house sure smells yummy.
Grandkids were here today, they didn't have school. It was nice, they are old enough to entertain themselves so watching them is easy!

Got to Love Fall Shows!

Had a great show over the weekend at Seven Springs, Pa. The crowd was awesome and they were buying like crazy! The weather was in the 80's and the fall leaves were spectaular.  Took pictures with my phone but they aren't real clear.

Now I am seeing snowmen in my sleep!  I need inventory  for three shows all on the same weekend! Two of them, all I have to do is drop my items off and they set it up and sell and take a % of the sales.But I still need inventory for all of them. These snowmen I made today and I have more cut out to sew tomorrow. Tonight I am just chillin and trying to get caught up on computer work I have to do.

Home from Vacation

Well we are back to reality. We had a wonderful time on vacation with our friends, staying in a beach house in Myrtle Beach. The first week was beautiful. Weather was perfect then came a cold spell and rain off and on the second week. We saw dolphins every day and thrusday before we left there were at least 40 dolphuns in a group jumping all around and we figured they may have been heading for warmer waters for the winter. It was great seeing them. I got a picture of 1 of them, it is not real clear but if you look you will see the fin in the picture.

I done something to my knee and leg over the labor day weekend and I was hoping it wouldn't lay me up doing stuff on vacation but it did.  I love walking on the beach with my friends but I couldn't which bummed me out . It is still hurting and it keeps me up all night long, I have so much to do too get ready for all of my shows  that are coming up for fall and Christmas but trying to get up the steps to my craft room is challengeing. Maybe I will have my hubby bring my sewing machine down in the kitchen tomorrow so I can get to work!

What the Hay!!!

I say what the hay to this weather! Saturday it was 95 degrees,muggy,couldn't breathe and now it is 62 degrees and I am cold! We go from one extreme to another what a crazy summer! Well I guess summer is over according to some but not for me! This Saturday we are flying to Myrtle Beach for a nice 2 weeks (pray there is no hurricanes) visiting with our best friends and enjoying the peace and quiet of no kids!
Grandkids are all back in school so now it is Duff and my turn to vacation:)
I have been busy though sewing for all of my craft shows which I booked and my spare bedroom is loaded with inventory all over the place.
When I get back I am having another giveaway, so keep watching for the information.

New Scarecrow pattern

Charlie scarecrow is the newest pattern I am working on! I Love these little guys! Hope to have the pattern out in the beginning of the week, so be on the look out for it!:)
My grandkids just painted some pumpkins for me, so I have to finish them when they dry. the kids are 8 and they do a really good job it gives them something to do too and they love helping.

I have been busy

I have been busy working on halloween and christmas items , for my fall shows. I always think "I have plenty of time but when the time comes around for the shows I am like a crazed maniac staying up all night long trying to get items made for inventory but not this year! I love the cat I made from a Dee Duncan pattern. I had the grandkids paint the 5 cats and they love helping me. I am gonna start teaching them to sew too. I brought a sewing machine at a yard sale and it works really well so to start them off I will have them make some pillows.

I am still here!

Wow can't believe it's been several weeks since I blogged! Having the grandkids everyday (5 of them) takes all of my time! On weekends we have been going to camp and enjoying the peace and quiet there , and trying to keep up with my orders keeps me pretty busy.  I am starting on fall and winter projects already and I do have my grandkids help stuff, gives them something to do when we aren't outside in the swimming pool.

We are Off!

We are packed and ready to go to camp! The whole family will be there this weekend, and dogs! I am looking forward to setting up at the flea-craft market there, I have made several "Big Bear Purses" to sell so I hope they sell.

I also made some new tarts to sell, grapefruit and blueberry. Wow do they smell yummy!

I chose this cheerful Summer garland to take down to our camp and hang either inside or I was thinking this would look cute over my front door. I Love it!  Thank you Vicky so much!

Trying to find my MOJO

Geez I wonder where it went? my MOJO that is! My mind is telling me I better get sewing and get ahead of my inventory for fall shows but my body is not moving! I need a good kick in the ...... !
We opened camp this week and I did spring clean everything inside, raining too much yet to start on the outside but I loved finally getting to WV.

This is a busy day for most of us . Dinner is all prepared and in the oven, and the goody bags for my grandkids are all filled. Was gonna hide eggs outside for them but it is raining  so just added eggs in their bags with money in them :)

Love having Company!

My best friends  came to visit my hubby and I for the weekend and we had a nice time eating out and just visiting and talking  all weekend long. It was a nice 3 days.!
I am doing TERRIBLE on my weight watchers diet! I can't get started. Everyday I say "this is it" but I eat all of the wrong things before the day is over and now it is starting to depress me:( If you would please say a prayer for me.
I have a craft show this coming saturday and I have some last minute items to finish up  I do work pretty good under pressure when I am running out of time so tomorrow will be a sewing day all day!

Here I go again!

I started Weight Watchers again today for ...well I lost count of how many times, but I am determined to do it this time and keep the weight off! You know when you wake up in the morning and the first thing you think of is "how fat I am" and then go through the day hating yourself cause you feel terrible after you eat with that bloating feeling, then you go to bed with the same thoughts of wishing you could lose weight, it is time to do something about it! Will power and Want power go together. I have Want power so I am praying my Will power stays with me to lose 40 pounds.  Everyone have a nice day and I will keep you all posted on my weight journey!

I am busy sewing for some craft shows and enjoying this crazy weather we are having. One day it is 70 degrees out and then the next day it might be in the 30's! I stopped complaining about it and just started to enjoy it cause there's not a dang thing we can do about it! At least the days are brighter longer since the time change and I do have flowers starting to pop up thru the ground!

I was laid up for almost 2 weeks with my back and sciatic nerve but I am pleased that I am feeling so much better now except I am afraid to do too much for fear it comes back again, my house really needs a good cleaning!

My granddaughter wanted me to make a frog and I just finished two of them. I think I am gonna call them Maude and Maverick. I have to write up the pattern for them yet but I am pretty pleased with them . Sorry for the picture being goofy I will take a differant one for the pattern cover.

Almost to 100

WooHoo I am almost to 100 followers!  If I get that by March 1, remember ....I will add another prize to my GIVEAWAY!  Maybe I will go over 100!
I have been laid up with my back for almost a week and I actually think I am getting stir crazy being in the house. I haven't been out since last monday. I have tried to do some sewing but I can't sit too long at the sewing machine. Selling blog

I have been trying to set-up a selling blog. It is challenging  to me because I am a little bit  computer illerate. I do know some stuff but not everything and then I get "senior moments" and I just have to stop and walk away from it. I will keep trying though! Day after.... and Giveaway!

Well it is the day after the SUPER BOWL and I am sad that my team didn't win but....Congratulations to the other team. We didn't go to any parties but we did eat alot during the game! I stuffed 2 dolls and hubby sat there yelling at the TV.  I am sad because when the steelers win I sell lots of purses, wallets, and dolls dressed in stellers dresses! Oh well :( now on to my Giveaway!

Monday blues!!

I spent 3 hours on the phone with a verizon tech yesterday trying to get my internet service working! and she couldn't get me on line! We had a power outage the night before and I lost my service, she had me trying everything to get back online. I kept telling her I just hooked up a new modem for the service and didn't I need to run the software for it? No No No she said I already had software on my computer for a modem...yes BUT FOR THE OLD ONE! I hung up so disgusted cause I wasn't online and we all know how computer withdraws can be! I thought to myself I am gonna try and do this myself , well as you all can see I am back! Now that I am a happy camper again LOL I have lots to do today.  I am working on bunnies and shamrock wall hangings with a crow on it. The bunny is what I have decided to be my first giveaway prize so as soon as I am finished with it I will post about it. 

Creating again!

It feels so good to be designing and creating again! I just finished my 1st pattern for 2011 and I wanted to share her with you. I dressed her in a red print, perfect for Valentines Day but...she can be dressed in any color for all year round display. If you are interested in this dollie pattern I placed a paypal buy me button on the side.

I am also making something for a giveaway that I will be posting soon about. I am excited because it is my first giveaway!

My son is back home in Brazil now and I miss him already. We had a lovely visit and he said he will be back soon. Wish we could go there...right now it is 90 degrees and there carnival will be starting soon.  Carnival there is like New Orleans Mardi Gra! They dance, sing, and party for days in the streets all day and niight.

My Happy New Year  everyone!
Our Brazilian son and wife are still here and we are having a wonderful visit! Shopping and going to see Pittsburgh in all of its glory with light displays and gingerbread houses displays was fantastic!! I am going to miss them when they leave on monday:(.
I am so ready though to start sewing and designing again:) that is one thing I am "itching" to do. and I am gonna have my First giveaway for 2011, details will come next week  so check back towards the end of the week.
