Glad it is over!

Christmas was wonderful again for the Altfather's family but I am glad it is over! Santa was good to everyone and the kids all got too much! I don't know why we do that...buy buy buy when they really don't play with everything they get?????? We have done our visiting that we do and now we are waiting for New Years Eve!! Darian was born on Dec.30 and my daughter is a NewYears baby! I can't believe she is turning the big 40!!! yes I have a daughter named Carrie that will be 40 on Jan.1...

Oh I have to tell you all I got a antique sewing machine from freecycle!! the girl posted she had a sewing machine and she wasn't gonna use it and usually I just read the posts and never answer but I am tickled I did! My hubby picked it up and brought it in and I was shocked to see it was a old black Singer Machine!!! YippeÜ

It feels great to be crafting again! I have started making Valentine items and I am working on a new pattern too. I will post some of them next time when I finish them.

Christmas is almost here!

Are you all done with the hustle and bustle of Christmas? Baking done? I am done except for wrapping the little ones gifts. I do it the easy way...I give the parents money to go and buy toys, or clothes for the grandkids! They have so much stuff already and I have no clue what to buy them so it works out perfectly! I don't miss going to the store and looking at something and wondering if they would want this or that...no headache shopping for me!
I am done with decorating, each year it seems I put out less and less! No I am not a scrooge LOL it only sounds that way!
I love my trees I do put up. There are three of them and 2 of them are decorated with 8 years of Primmarts ornie swaps! Love Love Love them! The tree in my living room is a Tall Pencil tree and I couldn't even get the whole thing in a picture, but I took sections of the tree so you could see some of the precious ornaments.
