What has been happening!

Everytime I come to my blog to update I get sidetrack! either the phone rings, or grandkids are wanting something or I sit here and get writers block!!
I have been busy since I last posted.  I have had surgery and was out of commission for a few weeks, and then I had to scramble and get ready for a craft show last saturday. I did take pictures of my set up and the show was awesome. Sold out of bunnies and some dolls and electric candles. I was pleased and now I am getting ready for the show I do at My Dad's Farm which is the show I really do love to do.

 

 

It will soon be time to open up our camp if this weather here in PA stops snowing! They are calling for a 4 to 6 inches Sunday and the temperature is still only in the 30's during the day! I think we will go right into summer weather because spring is passing us by!



Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to me!! yep another year older:)  they always say the oldser you get the faster the years goes by and boy is that the truth.
I have been sick since Christmas. First I had the flu for three weeks, now I am still fighting the cough and the mucous thing! I have no energy and am getting antsy to get out and go somewhere! Hubby took me out on sunday to dinner but I couldn't wait to get back home.
I have sewed a little only because I had some orders to get out for customers. I have to soon start on my bunnies for my spring shows and my website, Lord give me energy!!

Wow!

I have been so busy that I just checked in to my blog and noticed Oct. 30th was the last time I updated it! Wholesale orders, etsy orders and craft shows are all done...yippee!!!I Now it is only a week and a half before Christmas and I am starting to look thru my spring patterns!
I am taking a little break though from sewing and started playing around with making bracelets. Over the years I have brought some supplies here and there and I now have enough to actually make stuff with, I will have to take some pictures of the bracelets I am playing with I think they are pretty darn nice if I must say so myself. I think I will take them down to my Beauty Shop and see if any ones buys them, hey I can give it a try! Well I am off to take a nice relaxing bath and go to bed, my pillow is calling me..LOL

I am still here!

Wow I can't believe it has been almost a month since I was here!  Busy with wholesale orders, craft shows and closing up my camp! I am glad we closed on Sunday the hurricane Sandy has dropped 2 ft of snow so far in Preston County in WV. where our camp is! Unbelieveable that they have that much snow and it is still predicting more!

Time with Family

We had a wonderful with our whole family at our camp Big Bear Lake. We set up at the Craft/flea market  on Saturday and we did really well there, sold alot my electric candles  and halloween items andthe rain held off till we packed up before we got the adter effects of the hurricane ! Sunday morning it was still raining so we couldn't set up again but I had some people stop at my camp and brought more candles!! Guess what I will be doing the next few days...yep restocking candles:)
I shipped out 6 wholesale orders last week and have several more to finish up this week.  I love being busy and doing what I do!

Busy Season

This time of the year I wish I could clone me!  Been busy with the wholesale group I belong too and trying to get inventory for myself for the two big shows I do in the fall is keeping me away from the computer. I am not complaining I Love what I do!!!

Happy belated 4th!!!

Well they say that when July 4th comes  summer is half over! with the heat and sall of the storms we are having I am ready for fall to come. We are leaving for camp later today and the Jimmy is packed with my tent and crafts for a big flea-craft market. Love doing the crafts at our camp! I usually do really good with my electric candles and I packed items for  Christmas in July with lots of snowmen! If nothing else maybe it will make people feel cooler seeing snowmen on my table:)

I  am so busy making pumpkins for a wholesale group I belong too but I did manage to redo my kitchen in between. It looks so cute, I just have too make curtains yet then I will take a picture and post it.

Time sure flys

Wow it has been a while since I have been to my blog! Been busy working on wholesale orders and trying to start my inventory for the fall shows.
We have been going to camp every weekend too and you all know I love the peace and tranquilty that is there!
I am also getting a partial new bathroom! Water was running down into my kitchen the other day and we discovered that the old pipes for the drains had holes in them Had to tear up the floor and get a plumber in so hubby took me shopping to get a new vanity sink and to pick out new tiles. Can't wait till it is all done. I ordered new wall border too for the bathroom and my kitchen, they should be in tomorrow! for the bathroom the border has bath signs on it and I have always wanted the old log looking wall paper for my 1 wall in my kitchen so I ordered that too along with wall border that has a primitive welcome sign,  shaker houses and pineapples, and sheep all on it. I will post a picture when I get it all done.
Well I am off to get a bath and go to bed so until next time God Bless and goodnight.

Really?????

Am I the only one that can't get use to the new blogger set-up? Really don't like it!
I fell asleep arounf 10.00 tonight on the couch and now I am up and can't go back to sleep.  Nothing is really on tv that I care to watch  so I am searching blogs. I love how creative some are! I am not good with words creative writer I am not! LOL
We are going to camp tomorrow and I am hoping to go to a craft store in Morgantown called The Barn Yard. They are on facebook and they post Prims all of the time, will let you know if I get there this weekend.

Time flys!

Remember when we were little and the time and days went by so slow and it just seemed like it would never get here wish it would seem like that now!  Now we need more hours in the day and it is already 4 months into the new year! Geez why does it go so fast when we get older?? 
We opened up camp already and am loving it! I love the weekends when we can go. I am hoping the price of gas dosen't go up too much more or we will have to go every other weekend . Our gas is 4.09 and they are saying it will be 5.00 by Memeorial Day. Hibby is still laid off and it dosen't look like he is getting called back anytime soon. oh well why complain nobody wants to hear about that. LOL
I am working on my items for the Barn Show. I am making Eagles now

 I have 4 of these done and if I must say so myself they are all turning out great! I will have to keep one of these for myself. I also finished up some more Raggedy's

I did it! I had a week and a half to get items made for a store and after many sleepless nights I delivered all of the items above to Cotters Country Cottage!                                                                                                                                                            

It feels good now not too be under pressure sewing. I am now working now my stuff for the Barn craft show.  I made these wall/door hanging bags and love how they turned out.

This was my set-up for a show. The show was crappie:( but for 1 lady that owns a craft store. She came and wanted my whole display! I said wow... I have other shows this month but I will try my best to make you some of the items I have on my table. Needless to say, alot of sleepless nights this week but hey I love the opportunity she gave me for putting my items in her store!

Good Morning

Well this month is almost but we do have a extra day this month. Leap  year only comes every 4 years right?  I often wonder the story behind that Does anyone know?

I have been still sewing for my craft shows that are coming up, and I had mentioned that I needed something for Mother's Day since  1 of the shows is the week before Mother's Day so I came up with these candle light bags.  I had seen them before dipped in wax to make them sturdy but I wasn't pleased with them so I designed a bag that would stand on their own and I have been playing around with some graphics. Feedsack logos are Ewe-and me printables and the little girl is from Little Raggedys blessings.

Bunnies, Bunnies, Bunnies

I have been cutting, sewing, stuffing bunnies for my craft shows in March.  I am getting antsy to get back to doing shows! I can'twait. Last year every bunny I had sold so I am trying to double what I have .
Does anyone know anything about Google changing and not using google friends anymore for followers? I read somewhere that we may all be losing those that we follower and that those that follow my blog because they are changing?????? I sure hope not! I wish I had more computer skills but unfortunately I don't.

Lots to do!

Geez it is so true that the older we get the faster the time goes. I am working on Bunnies for craft shows and trying to think of stuff to make for a show that is in May. It is for the first 2 weekends in May , so I what to have Mothers Day items and then I am gonna make American stuff for this show. Anyone have any ideas for stuff I can make ? 
I had a birthday this month and turned ___ ! Can't believe I am that old! They say it is only a No. but the sad thing is  my body feels that old!
I hate the new timeline profile on facebook! I sure hope they fix the jumping of the page that it is doing. I pull the page down with the mouse and before I can get to the bottom of the page it automatically jumps right back up to the top! The only thing I really do like is the bigger pictures it displays. Oh well we can complain but it dosen't do any good.:(
well I am off to go to the mall I still have some gift cards that I got for Christmas.

Good Morning

Sitting here surfing the blogs I follow and thought  I would pop in and say hi to all of followers. It is a cold damp day in Penna. and my feet are freezing! Last week the weather here was beautiful and I even stained 5 yards of muslin and hung it outside to dry! I need to put some dynamite under me today to get moving.
Got to make Bunnies for my spring craft shows but no mojo. Last year shows I sold out of all of my bunnies and people kept coming back asking if I had anymore so I know I have to get busy and sew!

I am addicted to Pinterest.com! At first I thought what is the big deal about pinning items to boards but now I check it out at three times a day! If I ever make any of the receipes that I have pinned to by board I will totally blow my diet!

Wonderful holiday!

Well Christmas was here and gone already and I am sitting here wondering why we all fuss so much over the Holidays. We had a great Christmas Eve and a great Christmas Day. Church was awesome and singing the Christmas carols really made me feel good.

Otavio,  Barbara  and Carrie went shopping today at Tanger Outlet and oh my gosh Barbara brought 30 purses to take back to Brazil! They need to get another big suitcase for all of the stuff they brought!

I was having sewing withdrawals but was happy today when I got 2 orders for dolls! I couldn't wait to start on them! I was in seventh heaven in my craft room today!

Otavio and Barbara leaves thrusday, wish they could stay longer but I am so glad they came for 10 days. Having skype on the computer and being able to talk to them so far away is wonderful. Helps with missing them till they come back home.

Two Years in a row!

We are so excited our son and DIL are coming again for Christmas from Brazil! They arrive Monday the 19th and will stay till the 29th. Barbara loves to shop here because things are way cheaper here than in Brazil.Last year they had to buy 2 extra big suitcases to go home  LOL  I wonder if that will be the case this year.
Santa  will make a surprize visit friday night here for my grandkids, every year my daughter hosted the surprize visit and the kiddos started to expect it but this year we changed the house to mine and they will be so surprized!

I finished up the last of my orders to ship out today. I sold 24 Snowman toppers this year, which was a blessing!Here is a picture of the cute topper.

My house is all decorated and I have 5 trees this year! I have been inPrim Marts ornie swap ever since they started , which was at least the 2004 so I have plenty of ornies to decorate with and I love it! I have taken pictures but they aren't that good but I will post them anyway

Most of my shows turned out great!

Most of my shows turned out great except 1. Sales were a little off from last year but not by much. I noticed more people were using plastic (credit cards) more though than last year,but they were buying! I have this weekend off then 2 more shows to do.
I displayed my dolls this year in a babydoll crib and was surprized it was a HIT! Sold almost everydoll I had and now I am busy replacing them. When I get the pictures of my display I will upload it to show you all.
Thanksgiving is almost here and I will have 16 to cook for. Can't wait to smell the turkey cooking! Well Happy "Gobble Gobble Day"

This is crazy!

When did blogger change? One minute my blog looks normal then I check it again and the colors are goofy!! Guess I have to ask someone to help me change the layout and design cause I can't figure it out. So I apolozie for the look of my blog till I get some help.
Well I have all of my inventory done for my shows! Yippee!! I have sewed, stuffed so many snowmen and dolls that I need a break now . Three inventory's for three differant shows that are going on at the same time is alot!.I finished up making electric candles and tarts today and my house sure smells yummy.
Grandkids were here today, they didn't have school. It was nice, they are old enough to entertain themselves so watching them is easy!
